Eclectic chic gossip/telephone table

Yesterday I found a great piece at the thrift store for $15. It was boring wood with a dated and dirty upholstered seat. Great bones though! Here is the before.



I wanted to go with a funky bright color and vibrant fabric, but I plan on selling this, so to move it quickly, had to play it safe.





It even has a "cute" back side....

  10. Love it! I have one of these too, that I got at auction, and am going to paint. The shape of the table isn't as cute as yours though. Love the combo of saucy fabric and distressed white paint.

    Back in the day when you COULDN'T walk around with a phone.

    My Gram had one, she had the phone book in there and a pad and pen!
